James T. Yingst

Jim Yingst has practiced law for over thirty (30) years in York and Adams Counties. While engaging in the general practice of law, he has concentrated his practice in the areas of wills and estates, municipal and zoning law, commercial and residential real estate transactions and business law. He currently serves as the solicitor for the Borough of Hanover, Union Township, Conewago Township, the Berwick Township Zoning Hearing Board, the Freedom Township Zoning Hearing Board and the Highland Township Zoning Hearing Board. Mr. Yingst has also represented many small and medium sized businesses in the Hanover area.

Mr. Yingst has served on the boards of a number of civic and charitable organizations including the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce (President of the Board), the Hanover Chapter of the American Red Cross (Chairman of the Board), Hanover Area YMCA (Vice-President of the Board), York County United Way (Division Chairman) and Downtown Hanover Inc. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (Member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and Municipal Section), the York County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association of Township Solicitors.
