Matthew L. Guthrie

Matthew L. Guthrie began practicing law in 1985 after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He received his B.A. degree from Penn State University in 1982. He is a native of York County and graduated from Spring Grove Area High School.

Attorney Guthrie maintains a general practice of law which includes the areas of real estate, wills and estates, divorce and family law and business law. His practice also includes representation of businesses and individuals in governmental and municipal matters, purchase and sale of businesses, formation of corporations, LLCs, partnerships and other entities, landlord tenant matters, commercial and residential leases, Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board matters, collections and unemployment compensation.

Attorney Guthrie is also a title insurance agent for Stewart Title and handles real estate closings including purchases and refinancing for individuals and businesses.

Attorney Guthrie is involved in local organizations including Hanover Rotary, Hanover Elks, Hanover Area Networkers, Spring Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, York Traditions Hanover Advisory Board and was a long time member of the Board of the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center.
