Our Firm provides comprehensive representation in estates and estate planning matters. This includes preparation estate planning documents such as a will, power of attorney, living will and trust documents.

Our Firm also provides comprehensive representation in the settlement of estates. Upon death, the assets of the decedent must be passed on in accordance with his or her will or other estate planning documents. If a person dies without a will, his or her property will pass in accordance with the Intestate Act under Pennsylvania Law. Our Firm will provide assistance in the estate process to provide for the timely and orderly distribution of assets and payment of legal debts that may be due from the estate in compliance with the law. We will also assist in all filing and notice requirements and tax matters including inheritance tax, estate tax and income tax due from the estate. The executor of the estate has a legal duty known as a fiduciary duty to act with a high duty of care on behalf of the estate and we assist the executor in his or her decisions to ensure the executor meets this legal responsibility.
